What's Good with John & Joyce: EP 53 - Get up! The Chicago Cubs Pitch That Redefined His Life! Meet Adam Greenberg

We are absolutely fascinated by Adam Greenberg’s story and honored to share this conversation with you. As Adam sits with us, he opens up about the moment his lifelong dream came true—stepping into the batter’s box for his first Major League at-bat—only to have it instantly changed by a 92-mile-per-hour fastball that struck him in the back of the head. In a split second, everything he worked for—and even his life—was at risk. What captivates us is how Adam reframes that moment not as an ending, but as the beginning of something greater. He shares how that pitch, once devastating, ultimately shaped his purpose, resilience, and perspective. Our conversation goes far beyond baseball, touching on perseverance, identity, and the courage to get back up when life knocks you down. Adam’s journey, also reflected in his book Get Up | The Art of Perseverance, is deeply inspiring, and we truly hope you’ll watch this powerful episode and take something meaningful from his story. This episode is sponsored by:thewoodwinds.comsilviossauces.comdrinkmoonshots.com/ascend.bank/toyourhealth360.comFind us on social media:instagram.com/whatsgoodwithjohn_joycefacebook.com/profile.php?id=61561504850955tiktok.com/@whats.good734Find out more about us:whatsgoodwithjohnandjoyce.comwhatsgoodwithjohnandjoyce.transistor.fmRead about living abundantly:"Live Abundantly Now" book"Starving Your Fears" bookGet in touch with John & Joyce:linktr.ee/whatsgoodpodcastjohnjoycepodcast@gmail.comThis podcast is produced by:directlinemediaproductions.com/professional-podcast-production

What's Good with John & Joyce: Ep 52 - We're Talking Coffee & NFL with John Moffitt!

After a powerful run in the NFL, playing for the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos, John Moffitt made a bold, life-changing decision. At just 27, he walked away from the game, prioritizing his mental health, personal safety, and inner calling over fame and fortune - leaving nearly $1 million behind in the process.Back home in Guilford, CT, John began a new chapter alongside his mother, turning her incredible, feel-good juice creations into a thriving local business. Having already lived his own “moonshot journey” to the NFL and back, John deeply believes in the healing, energetic power of clean, nourishing food, and he knew they were onto something special. Why? Because his mom has a rare gift: making even the healthiest options taste amazing. From crave-worthy juices and incredible coffee to house-made almond milk for those who can’t tolerate dairy, the community quickly fell in love. Demand has grown so fast that they now have a 2nd location in Branford, CT. Proof that when passion, purpose, and great taste come together, magic happens. This is a story about courage, reinvention, and betting on what truly matters—and you won’t want to miss it on What’s Good with John & Joyce. https://www.drinkmoonshots.com/This episode is sponsored by:thewoodwinds.comsilviossauces.comdrinkmoonshots.com/ascend.bank/toyourhealth360.comFind us on social media:instagram.com/whatsgoodwithjohn_joycefacebook.com/profile.php?id=61561504850955tiktok.com/@whats.good734Find out more about us:whatsgoodwithjohnandjoyce.comwhatsgoodwithjohnandjoyce.transistor.fmRead about living abundantly:"Live Abundantly Now" book"Starving Your Fears" bookGet in touch with John & Joyce:linktr.ee/whatsgoodpodcastjohnjoycepodcast@gmail.comThis podcast is produced by:directlinemediaproductions.com/professional-podcast-production
